Scott Jones - General Manager, Brisbane Branch Manager

Scott began IT Leaders in 2001 in response to a lack of quality IT providers in the SME sector in Australia.  Prior to that he worked in various sales, technical and business administration contracting roles. In 2003 he completed studies in business to become a Certified Developer of Enterprise.  In 2008 he was a finalist in the Business News Publications Young Entrepreneur Awards and has been involved in peer mentoring for other young entreprenuers. "I love business and building a quality enterprise which truly helps the business community."

Scott does guest writing spots for various publications including National Accountant Magazine, Accounting Technician, and Your Life magazine and is seen as a leader in the field of Business IT Services.

Chris works from the IT Leaders Head Office and heads up our Sales & Marketing department, including Project Management, Business Development, Procurement and Logistics.  Chris has technical qualifications and many years of account management experience looking after purchasing, projects and IT management assistance of medium and large enterprises.  His advanced product knowledge and project management skills gives him the ability to recommend the right solution every time, and oversee the implementation of the technical team to deliver results on time and on budget.

Chris also provides reporting feedback and strategic business analysis for many of our clients under the DRIVE IT Management Plans,

 


Mark Hallam - Operations Manager

Mark is one of our Top Gun engineers who in 2008 was promoted into a management position to oversee the majority of our technical work.  He has 10 years IT and team management experience and we are pretty confident there is not another human being alive who can work with greater speed and precision on SME networks and servers.  This efficiency and dedication is a great influence for our more junior team members.

Mark is also the resident expert in implementation and improvements of our world-leading client network monitoring systems.

 

Harmony Hayler - Administration Manager 

Harmony has a multi-faceted role, comprising of HR & Admin Management, creditor and debtor management, and Website Project Management.

Harmony is our website specialist, and can recommend and implement an effective web and e-marketing solution for any sized business. 
Aside from helping our website clients to generate more sales for themselves, she also protects our revenue by running a very tight ship with our  debtor and creditor systems. She contacts clients immediately if their accounts become overdue and expertly manages all aspects of our credit control.


Garrick Walsh – Support Team Engineer

Joining the team in the 2008-09 financial year, Garrick was a Network Administrator for a creative development agency in SE QLD. He has a broad cross section of skills, completing large numbers of our service tickets one day, and playing the lead role in a cabling project the next day. Garrick is also a fast learner and has a hunger for new knowledge and skills.



Steve Hughes - Services Coordinator

Steve brings with him many years of grass-roots IT support and a wide array of remote support experience from both multi-national IT firms and the small business sector.  His role is to coordinate and apply all our resources to get the best results for our clients support needs.  Steve was instrumental in us efficiently processing over 18,000 individual support requests last financial year.  His observations continue to tweak and improve our Support Desk efficiency. 

 

Steve Peters - Support Team Engineer

Steve Peters came down from Rockhampton to join our team in May 2007, where he previously worked in an IT role supporting SME businesses and several remote offices of multinational organisations. 

Steve is qualified in business information systems and has spent several years mastering common Microsoft softwares.  Clients love Steve's friendly and calm nature, and it amazes us how he never looks stressed, balancing the pressures of managing very different client environments with ease.  Steve manages both remote and onsite work with many of our 5-20 staff Gold Coast business clients, including Gold Coast Business News and Pacific Optics.

Chris joined us in January 2008, from Auckland New Zealand.  He brought with him a wealth of experience in supporting larger organisations and large server environments, having worked for one of New Zealand's largest technology companies. 

We have found Chris to be particularly skilled at security analysis and designing and deploying complex server & network platform solutions, and  so we created him a role in this area.  Chris is also skilled in other emerging software technologies like Server Virtualisation and Microsoft Sharepoint Server.  Chris has recently assisted with infrastructure developments for the likes of Linc Energy, WideSpan Sheds, National Security Group  and AMX Australia


Todd Kendrick - Support Team Engineer

Server 2008 Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) 

Todd came from a background of Senior Help Desk in household name entertainment & internet services company.  He outgrew the role and wanted to get involved with a quality organisation that could offer new challenges.

Todd has a thorough framework of PC, Server  & LAN knowledge with a rapidly growing skillset in other areas.  He has previously been first line of contact for clients calling our Support Team for assistance and has become highly respected by our clients over the past months for his can-do attitude and accurate advice. Todd now coordinates the daily work of a number of our largest clients.

 

David Cramp - Senior Support Team Engineer
MCSE

David comes to us after many years of network admin and project roles, mostly in the financial services sector. He is skilled with virtualisation, database and email servers, cisco equipment, and many other corporate level technologies.  David has implemented network/server refresh projects with a design to ensure maximum possible computing performance within a given budget. He has also implemented advanced DR strategies for companies who have very serious consequences if data is lost.



Mike Beaumont -  Support Team Engineer

Mike is a high level desktop and network technician with a fantastic work ethic and unfaultable customer skills.
Mike is a ticket crunching machine, resolving up to 200 client support tickets in a month, with a happy customer at the other end of each one of those tickets.
