A digital transformation isn’t about minor, piecemeal improvements in processes.
It involves radically changing how you approach business challenges.
For example, being digitally native could mean rethinking how you work – without geographical limitations, you aren’t restricted to one talent pool or one local market.
But, like any transformation, effectiveness hinges on the people leading it.
You need field-tested business expertise built on a strong technical foundation.
That’s where our IT consultants can help.

Your IT strategy is a roadmap for solving business challenges through technology.
That could mean adopting unified communications to build a better-integrated vehicle fleet – or using AI threat detection to protect client data.
A digital transformation is an ongoing process that’s part of your IT strategy.
It means continuously adopting new technology, then using that technology to stay ahead of your competitors.
Strategy defines how problems should be solved.
Transformation gives you the ability to solve them.

Your IT strategy is your roadmap. It should contain a clear diagnosis of the business problems you aim to solve, a guiding policy that addresses those problems, and an implementation plan.
Managed IT is part of that implementation. Normally, it involves upfront project work (for example, switching you over to a new phone system or moving you to the cloud), followed by ongoing help desk support. As your business changes and your strategy evolves, you might need additional project work to adopt new technologies or defend against emerging cyber threats.
It depends on what you’ve engaged us to do. If you’re working with us to deliver a strategy or a standalone project, we’ll typically invoice upfront or stagger progress payments across the delivery schedule.
A strategy, though, shouldn’t be a static deliverable. Ideally, we’ll work alongside you to implement and adapt it over time as your MSP – which means any ongoing work will be billed under a customised monthly retainer.
We don’t offer standalone cyber security consulting. We approach cyber security in the context of your broader business objectives – any advice we give generally revolves around aligning your business with recognised standards like the Essential Eight.
