The amount of downtime depends on the type of migration you’re undertaking. A straightforward migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, for example, may incur minimal downtime – Microsoft has various automated tools that make a direct migration simple.
Moving from a collection of legacy apps can be more complex. In most cases, though, the actual work happens in the background. Your people can keep doing their jobs without interruption until the cutover point (when your old mailboxes are migrated to 365). At that point, there may be some minor interruptions to email receipt and access to shared mailboxes (which we can schedule for after business hours upon request).
